  if u don't mind saying if u r kiwi or aussie, and basic info like m/f, how long in, how long out, or if fading like me.. im female i live in aussie but born in nz fading the last few months.

  know it ain't the truth, but am married with little kids and closest family and friends all in.

  trying the slow fade and hoping my husband will do the same... being very gentle with him... .

  it was so easy i should have done it long ago....i went to www.abc.com, filled in the search bar with "20/20" and then clicked on 'email us'.

  my request was simple "please do an expose' on j.w.

  's and how they hide and protect pedophiles and then require those same pedophiles to go into public neighborhoods....putting them in contact with innocents, while not even being known amongst their own congregation members for the vile persons they are".. if enough of us make similar requests.....maybe,just maybe, we'll get our request.

  J.Hofer - Yes I was the same. I prepared a really good presentation from the reasoning book so that I could engage the householder in a discussion and still get the 'im not interested' response from them. it had the JW partner that i worked with whoever that be say 'oh thats a really good presentation'. So i looked like i was trying but really i didn't want to be responsible for bringing someone else into this mess and destroy their family

  no Im not new to this household. Ive been here all my life. So I know all the oldies in the local cong. They are new. I watch across the road though, there are JW's living there, they moved in about 5 years ago. The jws didn't go into their house. so they obviously know them and are from the local congregation

  They looked so uncomfortable like they didn't want to be there.

  What kind of a presentation is that. Presenting to deaf people. You wouldn't come across them much and by this presentation you exclude all the other potential recruits. It shows they just want the majority of house holders to say 'no' or 'not interested'

  I Used To Hate Gays!

  i remember i use to have a lot of hate in my heart when i was a jw.

  i remember i used to hate gay people a lot!

  when news reports came in about gays getting jumped in parks at night or killed.i would always smile inside.

  I wouldn't say I hated gays when I was in. I worked with them and loved them. But I loved most people. The fact was I never believed that all the worldly people deserved to die bec they weren't jws. I refused to believe they were bad/evil or whatever else.

  Now I'm glad im out and 'free' to enjoy people and appreciate them
